Together, We Remember.
Donor Appreciation Ceremony 2024 featured the theme, ‘Together, We Remember’. Donor families, together with healthcare professionals were invited to come together to remember our heroes for who they were, the legacy they have left behind, and the powerful impacts they have made to the lives of many others.

Dr Janil Puthucheary (Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health) – the Guest-of-Honour for DAC 2024.

Medical Student from Yong Yoo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore performed a song tribute (Supermarket Flowers) to our silent mentors and organ donors.

Ms Serene, wife of organ donor Mr Morris David Thomas Winn shared about her experience and how organ donation was what her husband would have wished to do. Her children also shared about how proud they were for their father to be remembered as a hero.

Heart, Liver and Kidney Transplant Recipients also shared about their transplant journey and how their newly received organ had impacted and changed their lives.

Donor families were invited upstage to complete the backdrop. Each brick they placed symbolised the gift from our heroes to rebuild the house that was broken. Without which, the house will not be complete.
